Nice collection of Canadian Revenues. I had a collection back in the late 70s and being in need of some fast cash at the time,I sold them in auction. Even then they fetched a pretty penny. But now I wish I had gone to the bank and got a loan. Those revenues are now worth a small fortune. It included many of the early Supreme court issues. I still have a few that have shown up in box lots over the years and will post some of them later. Only these are not worth much according to Van Dam catalogue. If you're looking for a good album, I think Van Dam has one for sale. Probably a bit pricey but will no doubt be complete and well done.
stampie78 I bought the first two volume set of Van Dam album although for the life of me not sure why.The pages are not on any substantial paper although very complete.I'm still deciding if I want to use them or just stick with my Quadrille pages on cardstock. The binders themselves are quite handsome.I think the newer albums has more binders involved, not sure what was added.
A question to consider.Year 2003 Canada-Alasaka cruise issue.Unitrade describes this sheet as non denominated pane of ten stamps with 3 momento frames.First do not the momento frames also resemble the stamps?Who would know the difference if you didn't read the catalog?Second question as there are actually twelve horizontal stamps and only one vertical would not that make the vertical in theory CV$ more?
