To everyone on here who knew leash and his battle with cancer, this morning at 6am he lost. He didn't die in pain, he went in his sleep. I'm Amy, so he wanted you guys to know so you didn't worry. He loved this site and all of you. Please celebrate his life and this hobby. His daughter loved the same hobby and will inherit his collection. So one day you may see a little krash on here. He would be so proud for you guys to help and walk her through the hobby. So thank you for giving him some place to belong.
I collect United States Classics, classic covers, Tobacco related covers & bill-heads and World fair ephemera (prior to 1930's)
My deepest, heart-felt condolences, Amy, to the family. We have friends ever since I came on Stamp Bears a couple of years ago. I will miss him as he moves on to that great collection of philatelists in the sky.
Amy I'm so sorry to hear about krash, "Jeff". He will be Sadly missed by all of us. He fought a good fight battling that dreadful disease of cancer. Our condolences go out to You and all of his Family. His Daughter will certainly be welcome into our Stamp Family anytime.
Chuck Bavier. I collect U.S. Singles, Se-tenants and Souvenir Sheets and Canadian Singles
krash,(Amy), as one of the administrators here at Stamp Bears, I want to express my heartfelt condolences on your loss. Jay was one of the best of us. It was obvious that he was devoted to stamp collecting and from the detailed work he put into researching covers and postcards we could all tell that he spent time doing what he loved.
We look forward to that day when your daughter joins us here on Stamp Bears as she will have a lot of stamp mentors willing to help her out.
We are putting together a remembrance issue for Krash, of our Stamp Bears newsletter, The Growl. Once complete, a copy will be mailed to you at the beginning of next month. Below is a link to the announcement: stampbears.net/post/83250/thread
Please let us know if we can be of help to you in any way.
