Stamps and Labels of Adanaland (and related entities)

A while back, I received a letter from one Alan B. of England. Alan operates his own letterpress and prints a variety of items, including cinderella stamps. Here's a miniature sheet that he sent my way late last year:



Because Alan is using an actual printing press rather than a desktop printer, this sheet required six passes through the press--one for each color of ink--after which he perforated the stamps.

I have some other stamps and labels Alan has produced that I'll share as time permits. I think he does beautiful work, and wanted to share here.

Here's another of Adanaland's stamps. The gentleman pictured on it is Donald Aspinall, the founder of the company that manufactured Adana printing presses from which Adanaland gets its name.
