I'm sorry for your family loss, but it's great to hear to you've decided to take up stamp collecting! Singapore has always produced well-printed and well-designed stamps, and I'm certain you will enjoy getting them from your local post office.
Meanwhile, we (like most stamp forums) have a requirement of 50 posts before you can participate in buy/sell/trade/giveaway. You can reach 50 posts pretty easy -- just participate, post some pictures of the stamps you inherited, and the Singapore stamps you will be getting from the post office.
Welcome to Stamp Bears. We are glad that you decided to join us. If you have any questions please ask one of our great members, or send a pm to one of our staff members. Our Admin/Moderator team are here to help you.
Make sure to read our forum rules and make yourself familiar with them. Once you reach 50 post, the marketplace opens up, and you can start trading with other members.
Oh, our members here love to see other members collections. Once you settle in, don't hesitate to show some scans of your collection. There are many threads already started. If you cant find a thread to post your scans, start a new one.
Again, thanks for joining and look forward to your participation.
One of my first penpals through the international youth service was from Singapore. I unfortunately got her first name and surname mixed up. Other than that, I can't remember much else about the letters, apart from stopping after less than a year.
I am a letter writer, snailmail addict. I send therefore I receive. I also manage a letter writing/correspondence forum called A World of Snail Mail and have a blog (link is in my profile). I sometimes post pictures on Instagram (username morgaine_does_snail_mail) Stamp themes - science, nature, postal history, maps, nice stamps.
