I know that clicking on the "new" icon next to the thread title will take you directly to the first new post since your last visit. Is there any quick way to go to the very last post in a thread (regardless of old/new posts)? Right now, the best I can do is click on the last page and then hit the END key to jump to the bottom. But then I still have to scroll up 1 screen to get to the last post.

Is there a quick "jump to last post" shortcut somewhere?

indeed there is!!

go to an area (lets say Canada) and find the thread you want.. now go to the right of the page and it shows who the last poster was in that thread in the last box, click that box. BOOM you are at the last post of the thread..
