Greetings Fellow SB Boarders . I hate pounding my head against a brick wall. So, why am I into stamp collecting? The latest case in point is why I can not find this Portuguese Guinea King Carlos stamp that is kissed twice with two overprints exists but is not listed in the Scott Catalogue. . . PORTUGUESE GUINEA - SCOTT 38 (with two overprints) . This typographic rose 75-reis King Carlos was originally issued in 1893 (without gum). Eleven other denominations of this design were also issued at the same time, including the carmine on rose 150-reis, the dark blue on blue 200-reis, and the dark blue on salmon 300-reis stamps. . On 20 October 1902 these twelve King Carlos stamps were overprinted with the nifty-looking black surcharge. According to the Scott Catalogue the rose 75-reis was over printed with a 400-reis value (Scott 86). Only the 150-reis, 200-reis, and 300-reis were kissed with the 130-reis surcharge overprint. . The second overprint, the carmine "REPUBLICA", came along in 1915. The 75-reis (regardless of any surcharge) is not listed with the five similar King Carlos stamps of 1893 that were kissed with this overprint. . So, is this stamp listed anywhere in the Scott Catalogue, and I am just a knucklehead that does not know where to find it? If it is, where? If not, do any other catalog list this twice kissed King Carlos (and is so, what are the particulars)? . Respectfully,

Greetings Mr. darkormex . Shivver me timbers. I've got a patch over one eye and can't see out o the utter. I reckon I need to own up to being a knucklehead. This just goes to prove what an extra set of eyeballs can do for you (meaning "me") . Regardless of what the other folks say about you, sir, I think you are a true gem. Thank you most kindly. . Respectfully,
