e-Bid and bidStart both under threat

In the forums on there today I learned that these formerly fantastic resources for stamps are both struggling.
It's sad but the world recession seems to have hit collecting stamps pretty hard and the money is going to silver and gold coins instead.
I collect silver, when I can afford it, but would not want it to see stamps off.
Has anyone else noticed a decline in stamp interest of late?

BidStart has issues because its development and transition to Stanley Gibbons Marketplace has really been bungled, so I think it's a different issue than what may be happening to other sites.

SG is not really supporting BS anymore, but yet their SGM is not really ready either, so it's caught in limbo.

I think its eventual outcome could go either way, depending on how many more resources SG decides to focus on SGM.
