k doesn't collect Cinderellas.
The first Christmas seal was issued in Denmark back in 1904. They quickly caught on in other countries. Emily Bissell designed the first US Christmas seal in 1907. It was actually sold at the post office for 1¢ each.
When I was young, I collected them, because I didn't know about the term "cinderella" (forgive me, I was very young and ignorant). It was difficult, but I quit collecting them after a long struggle. To remind me of my folly, I have held on to them. I post them here as a confession of my folly. This is a rather humbling experience.
