Hello friends it's been awhile since I been on-

It's been a few weeks since I have been able to actually sit down and get caught up on everything stamp related. I have been packing and moving and then, of course un-packing all our belongings into our new little apartment in town. It's quite a change going from a huge farm house and barn, cabin and fields o plenty to an apartment! Still adjusting but a lot more economically sensible for me with my current health issues. I'm starting to feel a little better each day now and can finally enjoy my friends and stamps again so I'll be popping in regularly usually early in the morning hours and a little in the afternoon. I just thought I'd let you all know that I haven't jumped ship or anything I was just super duper busy with life in general...yeah it sucked but hopefully I'm on the downhill side of that huge mountain of stuff we had to recently deal with. Thanks Bear and indestore! We're adjusting OK I suppose but town living is going to take some getting used to. You city guys would probably laugh your posteriors off if you seen this little mountain town! but it's chock full of history and has a library in walking distance and an Army/Navy store and the West Branch Susquehanna River is just down the street a little bit. So it has it's up-side.

Krash happy to hear you are finally settling into your new home. Is your back still giving you fits? Yea I used to watch "Welcome back Cotter" quite often. We too face in the future what you are going through because of my back. It will get and I see it coming when we no longer will be able to keep the yard and house up and it will be  an apartment for us.

i`m happy to know that you are recovering from your health problems
(at least I hope you are!) and also the lifestyle changes you have
made in order to help with that. You`ll be surprised to know how
easy it is to adjust to town living, as long as it`s not too noisy

Thank you Charles. My back is still giving me fits but I been fighting back with exercise and stretches and it seems to help some. It's a huge change from a 3 story farm house, barn, cabin, 98+/- acres to a small 2 bedroom apartment in town. I live a real nice neighborhood and it's pretty quiet and uneventful here so like it but like anything it will take some getting used to. The other night the phone rang and I was woke out f my sleep and ran for the phone BANG straight into the wall next to my bed! just like a Laurel and Hardy skit or something! I guess I need to get used to the new layout before sprinting in the dark eh? I just had to laugh about it...everyone else did anyway...
