New way to get stamps off of letters?

Just stumbled on this, wonder if anyone here will try this? Might be good for removing them self adhesive stamps. Will wait to see here who tires this and if it actually works.

Great idea but I think all it does is soften the adhesive enough to remove it from the paper. One would still have to remove the adhesive chemically before it could be mounted in an album. That said...the rice in the sock thing my wife and I already do when we have back and neck pain and we regularly sterilize our dishwashing sponges in our microwave.

That is prime information for those folks that re-use missed canx stamps. Tsk, tsk. At first I thought they were going to wrap bacon around a stamp and slap it into the nuke machine. Then I thought they were going to slice a lemon and place a stamp between the two halves and then microwave.
