Mystery Box Brought Home from Club Auction

I finally made it back to one of my stamp club meetings last night since my son's baseball season has ended. Didn't see much I wanted to bid on so decided to go for a box of unknown stuff. I'm happy with my results. I've got enough glassines to last the rest of my collecting life, and plenty of trading/eBay material. Some things I've found info on, others nothing yet. I have a couple of those Philatelic Truck s/sheets. And the Modern Stamp Album was my 2nd album, replacing my older $2 Majestic (I think) that I got from an offer on the back cover of a comic book in the late '50s.

I have two copies of the Modern Postage Stamp Album, one from the mid-1930s, and the other dating to around 1940 or so.

The older one came from my grandmother. It belonged to one of her brothers who died long before I was born. The cover has been replaced, but the pages are at least bound together.

I ran across the other one (which is in far better condition) in a thrift shop in Wisconsin probably seven years ago, and bought it simply because I recognized it as a slightly updated version of what my great uncle owned.
