This is the second of my presentations at the ACCC special stamps section (Australian Commonwealth Collectors Club) held on February 18, 2019. This entry was based on rare and very rare thin paper stamps; the thin paper £2 Coat-of-Arms; the £2 Coat-of-Arms with roller flaw (only 2 exist) and the 5½d emu (the only thin paper emu cited, it will be added to the 2019 edition of the ACSC KGVI along with the thin paper roller flaw). Michael Drury and Dr. Geoff Kellow were in attendance.
The stamp on the left is the regular issue and the stamp on the right, thin paper. The thin paper is more translucent (transparent) than the regular issue as shown, as they both look very similar from the back a more accurate measurement should be undertaken by a micrometer shown below.
Total invoice value of stamps - $5,445
