Birds nests and Bee hives, oh my!

Now that the tree leaves are off the trees we can see the birds nests. Some of the nest are so big I can't help to wonder what pair of birds made the nest.

There is also a large paper wasp hive in the woods behide the school. My daughter found it walking up to the school with her daughter. When I feel better I will take a picture.

Your wasps' nest is beautiful - looks a little
like a human heart complete with aorta and
one other (visible) input or output tube.

What I can't get over, now that we can see the
placement of birds' nests, is how far out along
the tree branches some of them are, given their
size!

Sorta reminds me of that old saying - "Bumblebees
can't fly! With that body weight and that wing-
span, nope, they can't fly!"
