How can I be out of glassine envelopes again?!

I've gone through 200 in the past month or so....

The way to solve that problem is to buy them in batches of 1000.

But once you do that, you'll start buying stamps in batches of 1000s.

Repeat above, adding an extra 0 each time... until you run out of room in your house.

Rent storage unit, and repeat above steps repeatedly... until spouse complains.

Repeat above steps, because hearing deteriorates with age, as well as memory.

You know that you’ve reached this point when, instead of sending a regular delivery van to your house to deliver your order, (Pick one: UPS, FedEx, USPS, Canada Post) sends one of their semi trucks!

I have them delivered to a private mailbox so keep them from the wife heat (it's Texas), and so that my wife won't see the boxes porch pirates won't be tempted.

Do you know how hard it is to find a mailbox place here that will accept packages without forcing you to rent a larger mailbox? This place was nice, the original owner old-fashioned, and he said it was OK for me to rent the smallest box even though it was mostly going to be packages. Subsequent new owners jacked up the prices, but did keep the same policy of accepting packages without force upgrade from smallest sized mailbox.

In 2015, I got the smallest PO Box available for 40 something dollars. In January I paid $106 for that same smallest box.
