Montenegro 1905-6 Constitution overprints, Sc.#66-71 with large and small 'C's SE-TENANT.

Scott does not address these se-tenant pairs. While all nine values of the original 1902 set (Sc.#57-65) received both overprints, Gibbons notes that only these six values "may be found" as pairs with both overprints se-tenant.

The major catalogues agree that the small 'c' overprint was issued in 1905, and the large 'C' overprint was issued in 1906, so what is the explanation for se-tenant pairs?

Very nice. Looks like a nit pickers paradise.

- raised "B" on two stamps (left).

- broken "9" on four stamps.

Would be nice to get these in sheets.

stampie78, I always pick these up when I find them in groups, they're a great chase. Multiples aren't very common, and I've never-ever seen sheets. Among the major general catalogues, Stanley Gibbons provides the best coverage for this fairly complex group. However, even they don't attempt to deal with the galaxy of shifted and broken letter varieties.
